Kelly Preston to Star in "The Tenth Circle"

Following in the footsteps of "The Mermaid Chair," "Plain Truth" and the upcoming "The Memory Keeper's Daughter," Lifetime is bringing another great novel to the screen — "The Tenth Circle," based on the New York Times best-selling novel by Jodi Picoult. "The Tenth Circle" is a powerful account of an American family, and a story that probes the unbreakable bond between parent and child. The Lifetime Original Movie will star actress Kelly Preston in what promises to be one of her best roles to date.

Kelly Preston has proven her versatility with strong performances in smaller independent films including "From Dusk ‘Til Dawn" and "Citizen Ruth" as well as in hit feature films, including her breakout role in "Jerry McGuire" opposite Tom Cruise. Since then, she has appeared alongside Michael Keaton in "Jack Frost," Jim Carrey in "The Cat in the Hat" and Colin Firth and Amanda Bynes in "What a Girl Wants," and received critical praise for her role opposite Kevin Costner in "For the Love of the Game." She appeared in "Battlefield Earth," a film produced by her husband of 16 years, John Travolta, and most recently starred with Kevin Bacon in "Death Sentence."

She will costar with actor Ron Eldard ("House of Sand and Fog," "Deep Impact") in the movie, which will premiere in 2008.

All I can think is ... wasn't Jim Carrey in the Grinch and Mike Myers in the Cat in the Hat?

Re: The Tenth Circle

I agree. I am an Eldard fan and ran out to get the book when I heard about the movie. WHat a great book! And a perfect role for Eldard. This could be awesome. Asha

I'm anxious to see this movie "come to life" though movies usually never do a book justice!
